One of my favorite topics: railway lines. Beautifully captured, I like the way the track lead me through the image, disappearing into nowhere. B&W also suits the image well in this case. Great image! |

I have seen a lot of rail shots but none that eve showed the wear and tear that this one does. Very nice. |

Beautiful. I love the lines, and how the tracks lead the eye through the entire image. The one thing I might suggest is to try making the shiny tops of the rails just a smidge brighter, and see how that looks. It might be better, it might not, and you probably already tried it.... |

I like the way the tracks lead you across the image into the night. I also like the waviness of the tracks. It takes a minute to "see" the wear that use has caused. |

I'm a sucker for deeply saturated black and whites. This one is great and I love the perspective of the tracks. |

Nice to see you shooting and posting! I'll have to remember to keep an eye on this thread. Love the darkness to this. |

Most unusual image and shows the decay and disrepair of lines all over the world very well. Like the emptiness and feeling of gloom that the disappearing lines portray. B and W correct choice for this image. Rail Travel is far better and far more economical yet we continue to forego it in favour of our gas guzzlers. Some have no choice. |

I like that the tracks diverge just at the point that they vanish in the distance and darkness. |

Oh I love this shot - there is such a strong story in it .. the way one set of tracks veer off .. like being at a crossroads and wondering which road to take .. I love the ripples in the tracks themselves - how many trains rolled over them and where do they lead .. I really like that you kept it so dark too .. adds to the mystery and it makes the textures and patterns even more interesting - in the top right hand of the photo there appears to be some sort of support system - now what did that hold up I wonder - or are they still in use. Thank you for the wonderful story that is being created in my mind. |

You definitely get the feeling it is night. The tracks lead you into the dark :) |
