I think squirrels are just so adorable. I love how it looks like this one has been tossing snow with it's face. |

Hehe. Good catch with some targeted texture in the tree to add interest.

Squirrels. Vicious little creatures, but cute, nonetheless. This one looks like he's ready to go up against you, to get that last peanut of the season. Framing, composition, lighting are all very nice. Focusing is hard on shots like this. Any kind of dynamic focusing is going to end up grabbing the thing that's closest to the camera. In this case, it was the wrong thing. Darn. |

Great framing and ROT. Cute little rats aren't they? Bassbone is bang on. Focus is off on the bark. |

he looks like he is smiling at you. the focus appears to be on the bark and not on the squirrel. What focus settings did you use for this? It almost looks like you used Auto AF area or Dynamic Area AF instead of single point AF. For zoom work like this, I have found that the single point AF works best. |

I like squirrels, they can be quick as lightning! He is a bit in the dark, just a fraction behind the focal plane, but his expression more than makes up! |

Lovely image, like the way s/he looks at you. I think a bit more contrast might improve the image. But great shot. |

Always so animated, haven't seen an ugly one yet (still probably like it anyway). |

Love these little critters and how he knows your there .. as another has mentioned, a bot more light on the squirrel would have been nice - especially if you caught a light in his.her eyes - but a delightful photo. |

Somebody's been walking in the snow - maybe two somebodies :) Cute critter - wish there was a bit more light on his face, esp the eye area, and less on the tree. |

Very cute but I think it is cropped a bit tight. |
