Almost spooky. Makes me think of the way that horror films used to be filmed.

Very interesting shadow play. Makes the toys look like they're alive, the shadows that is. I like it.

I love the shadows. It is eerie and spooky. Like the use of BW as I dont think color would work well here.

Homey recollections across the years or generations more likely. A little spooky with the implications of inevitability.

I̢۪m loving the shadows in this image, it lets my imagination run wild. The only criticism is that the OOF bear keeps drawing my attention for the wrong reasons. It is a fascinating image.

I'm not sure what to make of your image. Surely the children will be scared of the bear shadow and perhaps it is meant to be a faded washed out grey to represent a child's dream or nightmare!? Blame my childhood for not being sensitised to fairy tales and the Brothers Grimm!

I think scary, spooky, weird are all compliments here, Mariuca. This is a shot that triggers the imagination.

The conversation is one I'd like to overhear ... one of my children had "imaginary friends" at a young age... the other wanted to know if she could see their shadows. I like the toadstool.

Half boy half bear, it could be an imaginary friend in that shadow.

Shadows make this shot a delight to look at - your title suggests a mystery - that the bear is afraid as so many young children are by the shadows in the night ..nicely done and suggests a great story.

Funny to see all the shadows on the left wall. How was this scene lit? The shadow right behind the bear is not really beneficial. On camera flash? If so, why is the flah lower than the lens?

Interesting how we see things in an image that are not there. If it were not for some movies, I would not think to myself that the shadows would come to life. On the other hand, seeing the bear shadow come to life and walk away would be very 4th dimension like and very spooky!

I bet those shadows come to life at night!

Really weird image (in a good way weird :-)). I also feel those pieces at the bottom don't add to the image.

You have some interesting shadows going on. I agree with they seem a bit spooky.

I like this but feel maybe leaving the bottom half out might work better.
