 Taken on the same hike as my Nov FS shot - in fact the same day jut a few hours later after we had hiked a few kilometers across the escarpment ridge.
As we were nearing our next planned overnight spot at the Cockade, we came around the corner past Cleft Peak and to the summit of the Tseketseke Pass, looked to our right and were greeted by the most amazing mist in the valley below with a few peaks sticking out from below. Memory cards were quickly filled as 4 photogs fired off a few hundred shots each. The mist ebbed and flowed after a while I decided to shoot a few longer exposures. The slight wind helped to give the mist some movement which I really liked.

While it may not be the best shot, this was certainly the most memorable and breath taking photo session I had in 2012. It was also later that same day that we had the most almighty of thunder storms while we camp don top of the escarpment at around 3025masl. It was scary but exhilerating and this day will be in my memory bank for a long time to come!

Processing was from a single RAW image. Upped contrast a bit brought the black point down as it was a bit washed out.
Some manual dodging and burning with masked curves adjustment layers.
Resize, sharpen and SFW.

Once again thanks to RianBotes for guiding us safely around these unforgiving mountains.
