 Unfortunately I do not know what kind of tree this is. This is the bark of the tree which seemed to be peeling away. Did not do much processing on this image. I boost the the contrast using Topaz B/W with blending mode luminosity and sharpened with Unsharp mask.

Beautiful! Absolutely love the depth to the textures and colors. If you stare long enough you can even find faces.

Looks like tit might be a kind Cedar maybe. Interesting tree for sure. Love the different images you are posting with different materials used in each one.
