Neat. Lurking in the underbrush - or my too active imagination.

I like the "old fashioned" look of this, although I find the vignette maybe a bit too strong. Good idea though.

I'm expecting the Mentalist to walk into the frame and inspect a body. I think the darkness of the mood is perplexed by the lightness of the vignette.

Im finding the vignette a little overpowering, I do like the subject matter and the choice of a light vignette just not so bright.

Nice find, I also would have payed a second and third look to this as you apparently did. The choice for high key is a good one, and the vignette adds to that but I agree that centered would be better. Also there seems to be a second car to the left, and per your title you might have cropped this out, since it is too much obscured to add much.

I guess my feeling on the vignette is it is too strong and I don't see the purpose of it since it does not enhance the image. The autos seem to be 40's? The trees create a filter that seems to add to the obscure feeling though.

I don't know how I feel about the vignetting as I am trying to imagine it a darker color and more trees surrounding it and I wonder if it would improve it? Matter of taste - but I am with Ann wondering why it landed where it did - why isn't it being restored - no windows (that I can see) smashed out- a miracle in this society.

Cool find - like the shot a lot but agree with some others that the vignetting could be toned down quite a bit without losing the old look.

The shot of the car is interesting. Why is it there? How did it get there? How long has it been there? Good stuff. I suspect that the image as a whole would be stronger if the vignette were toned down.

Ahhh it tears me up to see those nice looking vintage cars in the woods wasting away. My father has 5 that he is restoring so I am very partial to them. Nice capture. The vignetting adds to the vintage look.

I'm not excited by the uneven vignette effect. I do like the glimpses of the car through the trees though. It's a neat shot.
