Congratulations on your Top Ten placement!
I really enjoy this one.
By the way, here... it's considered polite to check the "this comment was helpful" box when someone takes the time out of their life to tell you something about your image. |

Congratulations on creating an image so interesting it made the voters forget the theme of the challenge! |

I'm sorry to say that I was one of your low voters. The image is beautiful but DNMC. But of course the problem is not yours. In any case congrats on the clever idea :) |

So I get the hand but not the pencil - but that's what makes this shot :) Voted earlier. |

TWO opposable thumbs on each hand? BRILLIANT! I love genetic engineering! :) |

Great entry, on my calibrated screen I am seeing some dark black spots in the background to the left of the cuff, the knuckle of the thumb, and several more just above the index finger closest to the business end of the pencil. Great shot though! |

WAY COOL!! I love it! I wish the wrist didn't have a line down it (I know there's one there naturally, but it's inconvenient that it happens where the join is...so I would have gotten rid of it... or at least the color change), but I love the top! 9 |

Ok, that's just flat out creepy - I LOVE IT!!! Top Ten for sure. |

Love the image overall, but sadly, DNMC.. Since you left the arm in, it made it asymmetrical and ruined it (as well as the pencil itself). Also, you have a couple of stray edit marks in the black to the left.
Had to give this a 1 for DNMC. Normally I would -3 but since in this case, the theme was a hard and fast rule totally within the control of the photographer, I'm forced to be a little more harsh. |
