Jesus died on a cross probably not too dissimilar to this so that we may have life. We do not deserve this life but He did it because He loves us. That is grace: Unmerited Favour, the opposite of what we deserve

For by grace we are saved by faith, and not of works lest anyone should boast!!!
Hooooray! I love this. I relate to it 100% and it strikes a very familiar chord.
First of all I'd like to say it takes a lot of courage to post an image with a spiritual concept. Christianity is all too often bashed. I applaud you.
This is a simple image and I appreciate the uncluttered composition. The lines are clean and the silhouette is unmistakable and familiar to all. The sun behind the cross is a perfect complement to the overall picture providing beautiful gradations of blue. The light also wonderfully represents "The light of the world" as well. Very good use of symbolism.
I like the angle, the perspective. Very nice.
Technically everything seems to be just fine. No noise, or artifacts.
Overall you did a very good job, and this is worthy to hang on a wall. I'd hang it in my home... :-)
Best regards and blessings,

Grayce

Wonderful placement of the sun and cross in this shot. Very moving.

I really like the top 2/3rds of the shot, lovely colours and tones. The trees are a bit of a problem, though...I think the tree behind the cross encroaches on it a bit too much for the cross to really stand out. I like how they converge on the spot but I think it'd have been more effective from a lower angle, getting the sun to shine from the cross' intersection.

This is good. Without the trees it would much, much better IMO. I like the concept though. - Inspzil

The light at the top of the cross is an awesome touch. The sky seems to have a little noise in it, but that may be my monitor. If others have mentioned it, try NEATIMAGE. you can get a free download, and it is dpc legal.

This is just too good! Nice job of placing that sun at the top of the Cross. The trees are a bit distracting but I know you know that! Good luck!....8

Great capture. The angle really makes the cross stand out against the sun. I would like to have seen better lighting in the lower section for it is hard to distinguish the cross from the trees.7.

Take my comments for what they are worth for I am just a novice with a new camera. Dodo

Great composition. I like it very much. The lack of colours is perfect. Maybe it should be in b&w? Never mind. High score from Sweden.

I really like the starkness of the photo and the way the light is behind the cross...

This is a beautiful shot. Your timing for this was a wait on the moon to be right. I love it. Technically all is right on - focus, composition, cropping, interest, execution. It's a 10 in my book. PTL
