 One of the last leaves on my Japanese Maple tree. In a few more weeks the buds will swell and new leaves will appear. That's pretty, too, but there's something in the light glowing through the old, dried leaves that I always enjoy seeing.

PP - converted from RAW, cropped, decreased saturation on blues, increased saturation on orange/red, levels, increased contrast, resized, USM, blurred background more and cloned out a few jaggies, added border.
