 I have no business entering an expert editing challenge and have no expectations. This is pretty much how it came off the camera. The ruffled piece, that appears to be falling, is as found. I increased contrast, sharpened, desaturated, and selectively burned/dodged some areas.

Falling apart in geometrical shapes, almost. One of the few instances where a border contributes to the general feeling.
