 Shez's aesthetic is deceptively simple. Bold colors and macros, right? But there is a joy and an innocence to her way of viewing the world, which I am probably too cynical to replicate. So, I know she like taking closeups of odd things, and this seems odd enough to please her. It is a dried pine cone of some sort. I really amped up the colors and used a topaz curly filter on it to make it a bit more cartoonish. Whether this looks Sherpet enough remains to be seen, but Sherryl, this challenge made me think of you for two weeks, and it made me very happy. And I really don't care where it finished, because I had a lot of fun taking a picture for you. And I hope you're back to taking wonderful pictures.

Thank you for your wonderful entry into the Shez Tribute. Shez would love to have seen it and I'm sure she feels your love.

Beautifully unique and compelling. Love to know what type of plant it is. Has all the attractiveness of our Shez too an a funny way. Well done.

I'll be honest, I have no idea what I'm looking at...but it's exceptionally pretty! Such wonderful shapes and colors and textures! A touch oversharpened though (can see artifacts throughout the background), but otherwise most lovely!
