| What a precious little girl... The lighting on your subject is very good. The point of view of shooting down creats a more creative image and the background makes for a nice contrast. It is the background, however, that also distracts my eye. Using a F2 or F2.8 would cause the back ground to blur a little allowing you to focus completely on your main subject. I have a general rule, any time you want your viewer to concentrate on one image in your picture blur the background if possible. Good Luck! JG |

| Background a little too bight on the right at her head. Shouldn't have cropped off the top of her head. Otherwise a beautiful photo. Her expression is beautiful. She looks like she's in her own lilltle world. Beautiful. PTL 7 |

| The background here is way washed out. That is kind of distracting from the girl. Pretty baby blues though! Your focus and clarity are great. Lighting on the girl is also great. The angle and framing/cropping is ok, I would have liked to have seen her whole head though. Otherwise, nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. |

| Neat portrait. Very nice blue eyes. Not enough connection to the challenge, IMO. Background is a little busy and washed out. Sorry, 4 Swash |

| This look too much like a snapshot. You need to get onto the same level as the subject (unless you have a specific reason for an unusual angle). The lighting on the subject is good, if a little cold. The railings in the background are annoying, I'd have tried to move the subject in front of something more interesting. |

| I think a vertical crop that showed more of her head and less of her shoulders would have been more effective at showing her eyes. Otherwise a nice shot, and I like that she has a natural expression on her face! |
