Gosh! Love bird shots! Would have liked to see the whole bird, but this is still very nice!

Nice capture but angle is a little frustrating since I'd like to see more of your subject. Colours are quite gloomy and motion is not prominent enough in this shot to score highly. Well composed.

If you had been able to capture the wings all the way up, this would have rated a lot higher with me. As it is, I wonder what the rest of the bird looked like. And, the top of that which I CAN see seems very soft. I really like the colors and the contrast though. Good luck with the challenge.
