Greetings from the Critique Club;
This landscape photograph provides an element of mystery, due to the fog. I like how the background elements vanish in the distance. This effect seems to pull the viewer in, as they try to see what might be hidden just at that line where you can only make out the shape of objects.
While I like the composition, I think there may be a little too much fog in the upper third of the photograph. One way to add an element of interest to a fog photograph is to have an object, a fence for example, that runs from the foreground into the background. This could provide a viewer a better 'yardstick' so they can judge how thick the fog is. This element could also help to pull the viewer into the photograph, to examine more closely those objects in the background.
A level adjustment might also help with this photograph, as it seems that the entire image is a bit dark.

Should have placed better in my opinion. I was one of the two tens ;-) |

Good composition. I like how the background vanishes in the mist. |

I think this could do with a tiny bit more tonal depth, by adjusting the levels and increasing the saturation. The composition is very strong. |

Good shot but a little too misty in the background. |

I like the feel of this shot, like at my cottage on a cold morning. however I think I'd like to see less sky, looks a bit empty. Good luck. Jacko |

Is it deliberately untitled? Perhaps you could have called it "vanishing landscape" or something? Unfortunately I have little else to comment on - there is a lot of grey and not much going on. |

Nice foggy sand dunes. I like the grass in the foreground. Not alot of drama or interest. The heavy fog dims the color, too. 6 Swash |

I think it is a tad too dark. Slower shutter speed would have worked a little better.

A bit too misty and you should title your photo. |

Reminds me of our trip to Beaver Island. Not really much to see in this shot, but we get the point. The dark diagonal of the grass is nice and I like how you have placed it within the frame. It looks like a little person out there in the background, to the left, but it's hard to really tell through the fog. It's pretty. I'd like to see what it looks like when it's not foggy too. Good luck in the challenge. |

Ooh nice. Seems the rest of the photographers live in the most beautiful places and you live in the middle of a shroud of fog! I feel for you.
I do quite like this shot. It has a simplicity to it, and I like the use of the grass in the foreground to give it some colour. Hope the weather gets better soon. |

I wish the background was a bit clearer, although the tone of the photo is a bit mysterious, as are the objects in the distance. |
