This is stunning! I love the shadows here, that add a lot of drama to this pristine scene.
The sunlight adds quite a bit of warmth, in contrast to the blue/cold shadows....very nice.
The smooth texture of the snow is very evident, as well as the gentle moguls.
The composition is different. I would have tried to capture the tree tops, or at least the top of the evergreen. But...I think your way is better. It is more unique than mine would have been. Very nice image. I love it!

Beautiful pristine snow fall. Looks like early morning before anyone's up and about. Love the shadows. Nice job of taking into the sun. Understand the cropping the top off, but wish the sun had been such that we could have seen more up there. Doesn't hurt it that much. Still a 9. Great job, well done. |

The light in this photo is great, and I love those long, pale blue shadows. However I think the composition of the other elements is a bit lacking. If you'd cut out more or left in more, it may have worked. |

Beautiful light! I wonder what it would look like if you included the tops of the trees as well? 7 |

Nice job with the sunlight. I just feel as if I am missing the top of the pine tree though. |

Very nice photo, the only thing I would change is I would like to see the top of the pine tree. That my not have been possible and would have been a very different photo, maybe portrait mode would have worked. Either way this is still one of my favorites this week. Good Job! |

I understand you were going for the shadows but since the subject matter is "landscape", I would have preferred to see the tops of the trees. Good one though. |

Nice capture of the dawn breaking, it really adds a lot to the snow along with the shadows. I would be interested in seeing more of the trees though I think. They are kind of just cut off, especially the pine tree. Great shot. 8 |

Great angle! I wonder what it would have looked like as a vertical image with more of the spruce tree...? |

Beautiful, untouched snow! I love the light and shadows. It would be a better photo if the top of the evergreen was visible. Excellent exposure in the snow. |

Very lo-o-ong shadows. You obviously got up pretty damn early before someone disturbed the scene and it's paid off. This is a lovely image! |

Your photo stood out for me in the thumbnails. What drew me to it was the shadow and the lines cascading over the snow. It is a very beautiful photo and well captured. Excellent job :) |

Not sure about the cropping of the tree on the right. If it was just the bare trees I would have scored it higher. Good 7 though. |
