 Stopping for dinner along the southern Oregon coast, probably in Lincoln City or Port Orford.

-Handheld, auto mode
-Perspective correction
-RGB, Blue and Red Curves
-Hue/Saturation slight bump to Yellows & Reds
-Resize
-USM at 8%/64 dia/TH = 0 (applied three times)
-SaveAs JPEG (with IrfanView) at 99% quality = 297KB

One of the reasons for (or coincidences of, I can't remember) of the composition is how closely the rough outline of the clouds match the shape of the gull.

I've made an enlarged and a distored overlay of the gull to show the effect.

Normally I wouldn't like the sky to look like this, but in this case it works. It kind of adds a quirky element to the photo with the centred birdy and the fence it's perched on, and who can forget that title, cute.
