I noticed an interesting effect my shadow was having on the water and just had to shoot it. Had to shoot from the hip though as I would lose the shadow provile.

The waves of light and the sparkles seem to emanate from the silhouette/shadow. To me it communicates a spiritual or mystical connection to the universe taking place. I like the symbolic nature of the piece. I do have one little critique that I feel could make the capture even more visually appealing. I wish the shadow had deeper true black tones on the top half of the figure as that there are blue tones that are invading into the shadow itself and detracting from the blue (and yellow) waves of light.
