 This sort of paint job is not very common in my neck of the woods, but at the last possible minute, I took a walk around the neighborhood. Of course, to assist with the no-bright-colors was the not-visible-sun.

It was an interesting exercise to look at my neighborhood as if it were the tropics. I walked around for about an hour, and quite surprisingly, I ended up with 7 viable options! Wouldn't you know it - this image is from the building right next door.

Cory: nope, didn't touch the leaf or anything else in this image. I actually considered moving the leaf up just a tish so we could see the "e", but I decided a little mystery worked better :-)

I like how the tree mimics the vertical lines of the pipes in the inspiration photos. Very light and airy feel...calming.

Really really really nice.

Can't say enough about how well I like this image.

I think maybe you moved that leaf into the composition? (is that a banana leaf?) Looks really good there.

The composition is really the strength of this image, and is what makes it work so well.

Of course, the inclusion of the word Felice is just a super bonus. If this doesn't make it to the top ten I'll be shocked.
