There is something about the people that is odd. Perhaps she is waiting for anybody to have a chat with, anybody but him. He's waiting for her to fall over backwards. Thanks for always sharing your beautiful moments. |

Is there a doll in the window? Hard to see at this size, but that was something I "saw" when viewing this during voting. The tree has the potential to be benevolent, or something Stephen King might dream up.... I like the ambiguity! |

I expected this image to finish higher, I guess it must have been the familiarity factor that came into play. Congrats on the 5th! |

I particularly like the tree at the end of the street, and the light on the gentleman is perfect- masterful. |

I have a feeling the "nothing" will be not very much. I've been doing this most of my life. |

I guess it's a thing where you are but for me it's unusual to see the wood chairs outside so I find it adds to the appeal.. I just the love the way both characters are turned from and caught in the light. Perfect exposure.. looking to the distance.. waiting for nothing.. fabulous image. |

As she turns her back to the world and her life partner, he erases his face, as if he cares not. It is a story with no nice ending. |

One of your best (if you are indeed the namesake of the 1960's American sci-fi actor). This has an organic feel I find so satisfying and complete - an observation of life and immutable history that draws us in with the hope of finding something they have given up on. Otherwise light and tones are typically well done, etc. 9 |

Did you sneak up on them? What I find intriguing is that the woman turned her back on her neighbour. |

this is the fourth time looking at this picture, I would take a break and then come back to the site and look at all the submissions again. I keep wondering to myself who will crack first and say something? When will the eye contact be made? |
