Hi Alina, I remember seeing this image during the challenge and thought to myself that you either left the image rotated on purpose or you were new to uploading photos. So looking it after the challenge I think you were trying to send a bigger message. The photo itself is very nice. I like that the foreground is in focus. I have read a lot about how important the foreground element is in landscape photography, and you nailed it. The coloring is very vibrant and warm. Great use of thirds on each level of the piece, the separation between fore, middle and background gives the image depth. The blues are very rich and make me want to go to the ocean. Nice work.

did you forget to rotate it ;)

Was this orientation an accident? It's a nice photo, I like the lead-in of the foreground and I love the intensity of the colour of the sea.

Great picture but not portrait.

who's this rebellion? :)

Very nice shot but it would look better rotated. I'm sure you know that.7

I would have scored this higher, had it been uploaded in Portrait orientation.
Also, I think the foreground of flowers and stone don't work well in this image, its more of a distraction than an enhancement. Looks like you may have taken this when the sun was high, theres not much depth/shadows here. I think it could have been a wonderful photo had it been a little better composition, and taken at a different time (or even edited differently).
But, I give you props for entering, because I didn't even do that.

Looks like you missed the "portrait orientation" part of the challenge title. Too bad, it's a nice landscape.

Was that intentional?

Ha ha I like your sense of humor. A portrait orientated landscape presented in landscape mode. Shucks...just put my neck out trying to view this :)
