When I read the challenge description I checked my dpc profile with all the different objects, subjects, people, places, etc. I’d photographed during my dpc life. There didn’t seem much room for “not my style”…

Soooo… I decided to do an “In the style of” image of Christiane Bubel bubeltrubel.
I’ve always wanted to do this because I love her work, especially the beautiful, delicate feather images she does. The blue is not quite as silvery as hers.
I see that a few of my commenters think that someone is doing my style. Hmm…
Anyway, it was a definitely a challenge trying to capture her style.

I am like others and felt this was your style, looks like you like other peoples style that is similar to your own. It's funny, when I saw this challenge I thought about trying to copy your style, glad I didn't try!
As soon as I saw it, I knew it was yours. lol, the reason people think it is yours is because you have feather shots in your port about 11 times and about 4 times they have water drops on them and bubeltrubel only has a feather in about 3 shots in her port. SO that is the confusion I think! Still a most stunning image!
Well, Irene, monochromatic rendition of water drop on object seems to me VERY much in the style of you, but what do I know? Lovely image, congrats on the blue.
This is such a great photograph, nearly completely perfect in all its possible ways. Nearly, because I don't know why my eyes keep being attracted by the spot in the left middle, near the feather. Just because of this I didn't want to vote from the first moment I saw this entry. But there's too much which is well perfect that I will not look at the spot any more.
