nice job 9

The subject is great. There is much potential for this shot. I think taking the pic from the level of the calm water would make it seem bigger. It could be a little clearer too. - Inspzil

A good idea! I wish you had taken the photo from another perspective though, maybe from the green area where the water is still? It would have been nice to see more green :) -Annida

Lovely golden reflections in the still water, cascading into a little waterfall at the bottom. Potentially two great pictures, but masterfully integrated as one.

very nice

It's an interesting photo although the depth of field appears to be a bit shallow - the middle is in focus, but the grass at the bottom looks blurred and the bank at the top is blurred. Without knowing the camera it's difficult to say if there is much you could have done about this though.

Now this has some dramatic lines. I realy like the composition here as well as the texture and detail. I feel that it is slightly overexposed though as evidenced by the overly bright water and the slightly washed out area in the foreground. 8 -Tim

Very nice! I like the contrast between the rushing water and the calm of the reflecting pool above it. (Hint: natural shots seem more natural w/o man made items in them, no score effect) 8 Swash

i voted and wrote on this once already..... i had it up for quite a while and must have been timed out or something...... i like the pic a lot. i like the contrast of the calm pool of water at the top and the action of the little falls in the lower portion. it is a unique place.... i love the rocky natural dam. I feel a tighter composition would have been achieved if you had cropped near the top eliminating the green bank, but leave the reflection of the trees as your top edge...... this is a very good picture and an inviting place.

I like the diagonal of the rock in the bottom left. The water is very nice, and I bet the water is coooold.Focus and clarity are good. I think it's neat to see the cracks in the rock. Angle and framing/cropping are good. You placed the diagonal very nicely within the photo. My only nitpick is the water in the bottom right. It seems almost like it's starting to get washed out. maybe a little lighting issue in that area. Otherwise, lighting is nice. Good luck in the challenge.

Refeshing image.

Nice composition. Colors look washed out, perhaps adjusting saturation would help. The water, while captured well for slow motion, looks over-exposed (too bright), as does the rock on the left.

Great nature picture, but I am not sure if this is actually a landscape picture as such.

Beautiful shot, may have cropped out the upper left stone object, but that's just being really picky. 8
