I adored this shot the first time I saw it and was very surpised at it's placement. Sure the color is a little overdone, but it works for me in this instance. One of my few 10's in the challenge |

I can't belive how this placed I thought for sure it would be in the top 3, it was without a doubt my very favorite! It looks like a painting, abstract, with a ruffness to it that is awesome! The color is perfect and the light on the tire makes the whole shot! |

There is a certain drama here. The (oversaturated) red is in sharp contrast to the black and white of the tire. Composition is fine. It has a grittiness I like, in small doses. Focus could use a little work and I think I would like it better if the ground wasn't quite so blown out. |

I'm confused, why is the coloring so weird? |

That is one bright sun! I thought it was white paint on the tire for about a half a second. |

The light/colour in this pic looks really unnatural..... |

compositionally, this is ok. but the light looks extremely harsh and focus could be sharper. try a different time of day. |
