Nice way to show 'Alice' disappearing to the other world. |

7...yes, this conjures Alice for me. That's what I love about the lensbaby, and I'm assuming this was a LB shot, it lets us make believe, shows other worlds we can't see without it. The B&W conversion is what holds me back from a higher vote, but that's my bias to get over.
Bumping to an 8. |

the blur works well here, wonderland should never be a crisp place when viewed from the outside

Perfect use for a lensbaby. Dreamy, haunting, a bit dizzying. Don will surely give this a nod |

Comment Challenge: Nice leading lines, drawing your eye to "Alice" For me, the close to to in-focus left side of the bridge detracts from the mystical feel of the image. I like the girl's motion - it adds to the sense of her exploring the unfamiliar. |

Love it, you've captured the essence of the murky divide, the entry into the other, and perhaps the core of the lensbaby (could be wrong, but this is my story) Mono is a great choice, we have the subject in motion and showing intent and directing to a destination through an imaginary passageway the has ties to the real world. You are very clever ;).9. |

An interesting take on this.
Frankly, so far it's one of the best. Down the rabbit hole indeed.

I do like the lensbaby effect when used well, such as with this image. The b&w conversion is nicely done and a good choice. I ended up looking at this image longer than most. 8. |

I like the "trippy" feel of this image. I think that the blur could have been done a little different with the in focus portion on the girl. This would have made it seem more like the girl was normal and the surroundings were crazy.
Gave it a 7 |

Lovely blur effect, appropriate for the book you are portraying, as is the position and pose of the girl... entering another world. Unfortunately, it's become almost a cliche to put someone on a walkway with lots of leading-line perspective and add a kind of glowing blur to it. 6 |

I an one of a few that have taken on theâ Comment on every vote challengeâ. I will post the score I gave you then try to explain my reasons for said vote. Hopefully nothing below will be taken personally, and maybe we can both learn from it..
Somehow for all the wrong or right reasons this fits. I feel I am chasing a girl thatâs chasing a rabbit into the unknown. 8 or 9 I debate, cat with a grin says 9 seats at tea. |

The figure seems a bit young and small but the mood of fantasy if nicely conveyed by the blur and tonality. 6 |

A very appropriate story for the distortion and mood of this one. I get the feeling that she is chasing a rabbit. 7 |

And interesting shot. I would have really had liked to see the girl in focus, rather than the few stray branches... nice color conversion. Gave this a 3 originally, but bumping to a 5 |

Nice use of blur to create the sense of motion of the viewer disappearing down the proverbial hole with the girl! |
