Being that you were in a public bar, limited to your onboard flash, this shot is about what we can expect from a straight on fire this close to the subjects. You have captured what every man goes through at least once in his life, a lady not interested in the history of Monty Python's Holy Grail :-D
If you have access to an external flash, bouncing off of the ceiling would have helped soften the glare of the flash and softened the features of your subjects. Don't be afraid to use the full 640 width we're allowed, more details = greater viewing experience for your voters. With a larger image size, you could have cropped of a little of the bottom so as to loose the distraction of her purse.
Pesonally this photo didn't have a very humorous impact on me. I feel that it is too candid to the point that the glare of the flash and size/crop distract me so I can't see the humor in it that you do. |

Looks like she's already had too much. Has she seen this photo? And gave her permission to use it? Surprising! Love the expressions. Great photo with good techs. |

Yeah, she really looks interested. In fact she looks like she's trying desperately to get away from that dood! Or maybe she dropped her can of mace and is picking it up? Hmmm. Fun picture. |

What is funny about this shot, to me, is the fact that he's really trying to talk to her, hand gestures and all, and she looks to be in outter space. Not even looking at him. (without even looking at the title) The objects in the back indicate some drinking, and that's pretty funny. Focus and clarity are good, and lighting appears to be ok as well. Maybe a tad harsh on the girls face, but not serious. Good angle and framing/cropping as well. Good luck in the challenge. |

You can see the expressive notion on that girls face, it is excellent. The way he has his hand as if he is talking to her. Excellent capture of a conversation. I hope this photo does well. GL |

Should be titled annoyed with guy in the rugby shirt. Or ignoring guy in rubgy shirt. I don't see tequilia. This is funny though. |
