Another good take on the darkness as negative space school. Effective representation of manipulation in human interaction. |

a double meaning of negative space. not many have ventured into this sort of punning for the challenge, so I commend you for doing so. I also like how the boy has made himself almost unrecognizable as a human figure by holding his face. The woman is not conveying the story, though. Her eyes are too loving. But if you had conveyed the story too perfectly, it would have been dull. So, well done for using negative space in two ways at once, and keeping my interest. |

The play of duality and the strong story here are really good. I do wish the blacks on the figures weren't so blocked up, the floating body parts might have worked with a single figure, but with the two figures the negative space ought to be between them, and not be allowed to creep between neck and hand. Top five. |
