Cityscape, landscape... they're the same to me. So I like this shot. The use of a long exposure with the correct time of day has given this otherwise bland cityscape a nice cool clean look. The river leads you right into the center of the city. Do to restrictions it would have been hard to get a better angle with the river, but being dead center isn't distracting enough to me the viewer. What impresses me the most is that with that color of blue right next to the dark lines of the buildings, it is easy to get ghosting or artifacts. I don't see this at all. Your choice of a 10 second exposure correctly exposed this shot so that non of your lights are to bright, and the dark areas are lit well enough to make out the subtle details in the branches of the trees on the right. Only two things I can think of that would really set this picture out from the crowd... 1) If you could get your aperture smaller to have everything in tight focus, and 2) if you could elevate your perspective so that your camera is in a building or roof across from the skyline. Still retain the amount of river you see, but look more straight on at the buildings instead of up at them. This will help reduce the amount of tilt we see on the outer most building. Nice picture, very well done. |

| Wow, it looks like those buildings on the edges are leaning!! Very nice use of composition, contrast and complimentary colors, though. Wish those spots in the upper and lower right could have been a bit less bold. |

| Wow, this is an excellent photo. The lines, shapes, colors, and contrast or great. I'm having a difficult time fitting it into 'landscape' fully but I am still giving you a 7. |

| I really like this picture a lot, but feel it's more suited to the "Cityscape" theme, as there isn't much land that I see here. Will still give it a high score anyway cause I like it so much. |
