So I did this as a backup plan, in case I didn't get another shot for the challenge. I didn't, so here we go :)
This is 1/3 of the 5500 seat auditorium at work. I was actually hoping to do this in the new 11,500 seat auditorium that has multiple colors of seats, but it was closed as the construction finishes up.
After taking this, and processing it, I wasn't super pleased. Sure, it's fine. I has repeating elements, deep color, and a bit of fun. But I never even posted it on Flickr since I was like "meh."
I especially don't like that I have now used this location for three challenge entries. But sometimes, you just work with what's available.

Now voting is almost over and it's sitting at a 6.8?!? What, seriously? I would have never guessed!

Stayed up for rollover tonight. With a good score riding along into the last hours, I just couldn’t sleep.
Wow! I really cannot believe this! I never thought this would hit a 6, let alone ribbon. So crazy!

Image validated. Whew! While the editing was super basic, this was the first time I had to pull the RAW from the Aperture library instead of the card. Worked flawlessly, which means I will be deleting images from my card more frequently :) |
