Superb study in texture in incredible lighting. Too bad you didn't move just a bit to the left to get more of the eye (not a lot more - just a tiny amount.) Overall a very nice submission.

This is extraordinary. The contrast really reveals the texture of the skin. Composition is terrific. Color conveys to me a quiet wisdom with an edge of sadness to it. This gives it a lot of emotional punch. A top ten for sure and one of my top picks this challenge.

Good composition and wonderful light that shows off the colours and texture of the hide to perfection..focus looks just a wee bit soft..but that could be my eyes playing up :)
