Love getting these contra jour shots with my simple little P&S... Also love that I now 'own' the S95 again.. Too cool, thanks voters!

I liked the snow and the tree, just didn't like where the sun was, kind of out of proportion, still a very nice image, and well done on getting the top spot!

Beautiful portrayal of winter's serenity. It's just so immediate and, yes, intimate. The weak sun casts enchanting light. My favorite of this challenge.

My favorite in the challenge - bleak and wintery but the dormant plant life also speaks of life beneath the surface. Love the metallic tones. Voted earlier; back to comment.
