Critique Club Comment:
A snapshot of Droopy lying in the dirty clothes in my basement. Flah used.
Based upon your description, this is exactly that. A snap shot. Your subject matter is not bad, and you have a good assortment of colors. I do feel however that the humor aspect gets lost in the quality of your shot. The focus is on the front most clothes and with your aperture set at 2.4 you have lost the DOF that would also have the dog in focus. You choice of shooting angle could have also been moved to maybe have the dog peaking out from behind an article of clothing.
I feel that this shot could have been more then a snapshot with a few adjustments.

| This IMHO in more depressing than funny. And the photo has too little light, and out of focus. The reflection on the poor dog's eye seems to come from a flash, and should be avoided. |

| Aww, what a cutie! I think the focus is a little off and maybe the contrast is kinda harsh since the details of his eyes (which sell this photo) are a little mysterious. I want a dog now! |

| Not rolling on the floor laughing, but the shot is kind of cute. The focus is a tad soft for my personal taste. I'd like to see the dogs face a bit more crisp. The look is precious. The dogs black fur on it's back blends in with the background and we kind of lose where the background ends and the dog starts. The angle and framing/cropping is very nice. I like having the dog toward the top of the photo, and the laundry growing all around it. Cute dog. Good luck in the challenge. |

| the focus is out of whack but the subject and composition are fine and has a little humor. Would be better if he was lying in a pile of underwear or something :o) |

| I love it and love the colors BUT where's the middle of his back. It faded into the background and he looks like he is disembodied. And this would have been such a cute picture. PTL |
