 This guy is quite often stationed on this same corner in Baltimore, spring, summer, fall & winter. I've never seen him beg. He did once ask my bus driver how to get a bus driving job. On this day, it was about 6°F with a wind chill below 0°F, and there he was, on his corner. I just hope he got to a shelter for the overnight, even if he is bundled up.

Not the greatest shot (compositionally, I'd say bad), but, it's what I got, so I'm putting it in.

I've read many comments over the years about folks taking pictures of the homeless, just trying to get a reaction. And whether or not it is exploitation. I'm kind of torn - on one hand, I feel we all need to do more to raise awareness of these poor souls. At the same time, I feel as though we should probably just reach out and help this guy and not take his picture. Would love to hear what you all think. I for one will keep this man in my prayers.
