Composition - Well no job is finished until the paperwork is done. Nothing is more true than those precious few moments of "dropping the kids off at the pool." Being a veteran of 11th hour shots, I know how these things work. The shower curtain as bright and colorful as it is, is really taking away from the subject of this pic. The bright glare on the curtain is equally distracting. It looks like the paper is tied on the subject. I think it would've been more effective to just stuff it down there, plus stuffed a bunch more down there to make his backside all puffy with paper. A little different perspective might've added to the mood of this too. Maybe if you could've put the camera lower, like toilet level against the wall next to the toilet, taking the camera from the toilet's perspective, you could've emphasized the paper a little more and taken some of the focus off the inside of the toilet and the shower curtain. This is a good concept, but these 11th hour shots don't afford us the time to hone this down and explore all of the options to make this shot as effective as it could be.
Photography - This is a pretty well taken photo. The only thing I don't like is the flash on the shower curtain. Exposure looks good as does DOF and focus.
Processing - I don't see anything standing out at me, so it must be good
Overall - This shot has a lot of potential to be pretty good. Some of the distracting things need to be removed or replaced. A better angle on the shot would also minimize this stuff and concentrate our attentions to the humorous part of the photo. Hope this can be of some help to you. My best advice is take your photos prior to the 10th hour so you have a little time to rethink and reshoot them. I should prolly listen to that advice myself!! - Bob |

Funny pic, however the dirty toilette bowl and the wild shower curtain are distracting to me. Jacko. 6 |

This is hilarious. I'm certainly glad you had the models pants pulled up!! Nice and crisp and the colors on the shower curtain are super. Very nice. |

The humor here is right on target and was suggested to me by a friend. [great minds.......lol] I do think this would of been funnier if you'd of been in a public restroom....with the door sign 'Men' in view. Here the shower curtian and floor are distracting from the tp humor. |

If the TP didn't look like it was tied around the belt, I think this would be funnier. Still pretty funny. And brave too...no WAY would I ever photograph my bathroom. The angle and framing/cropping is ok. Something about not being level is odd, but not nesissarily bad. Lighting and colors are good. Focus and clarity are also nice. Good luck in the challenge. |

Very, very funny. I would say I have been there and done that if my name wasn't attached to my comments. Interesting angle of camera, use of thirds and clarity of image. |
