How appropriate that Peter means Rock!
Peter - I admire your phenomenal fortitude, and your ability to find and focus on the light in the darkest of circumstances. You are an inspiration, a true hero.
I had visions of impressive rocks 'out there' but, with little time, I had to use what I could find at hand - an heirloom stone (it came from my Mum and Dad's garden) placed in the dappled light on my front verandah tiles.
Open PSCS3
Crop
Duplicate layer
Topaz Adjust
Select rock, select inverse, cut pixels, flatten
Duplicate layer, stroke border reduced opacity,
Canvas size border,flatten
Text layer, layer style bevel and emboss
Text layer (smaller font selected) repeat style
Flatten
Sharpen, image size x 2, sfw.

There's a mixed message here - a rock is known for being solid, and 'forever' - while your message speaks of light and shadow. (which does in fact appear in the image).
Not a bad go at it, and I'm sure Peter would be happy. |
