 Ha! Depressingly close to the truth. Last weekend we took in a marvelous outdoor car show. This weekend - stinking hot, wildly windy - not fit to do anything much but stay inside and keep the sunshine out as much as possible. That is my husband and Tisa heading upstairs to where the air-conditioner resides.
The original of this is bright red - the prevailing light was from the red sidelights of my front door. (Skylight and all windows were covered.)

I was the 9 vote on this image. Never got around to commenting, so...

I really like the bold choices here. Not only the B&W conversion, but the impenetrable shadows, the aggressive vignette, the grain, and the motion blur. I particularly like posthumous's comment alluding to Picasso. Bravo!
