When I first saw this, it didn't matter what the rest of the photos in this challenge looked like, this was it; this was my winner!
I've had dreams like this, where I couldn't move, I mean literally I was frozen, stuck in absolute terror. The only way out was to let go. This photo reminded me of the dreams I've had in the past, long ago...thankfully I don't have them anymore; and although this is just a girl sitting on some stairs; to me it was much more. I gasped I really did when I first saw it, and I've come back many times to view it, I've thought about it since the challenge started; trying to come up with something to say, with the limited literary flair I've acquired.
The ground and the specks of the floor are the stars, a bit like the universe in reverse. Letting go is the hardest part, but oh when you do, you are set free, but then the awakening comes, and the realisation of what just happened confronts you, did I live, or was I saved.
