 Yep, it's been done to death (close-up of a rose), but I wanted to see if I could improve on my last one. I'm quite pleased with this one. I like the fact that I've not used the usual Gaussian Blur here, in fact I've made it as sharp as I can with loads of dof.
(Phew, a close call there, I forgot this was a basic challenge, and had to re-edit my photo to stay legal. I think I've got it pretty near to my spot-edited and layered version.)

This is one of my favorite photos of the challenge. I hope you don't suffer too much from those who don't like flower shots!! It's soooo beautiful. No suggestions for improvement, just admiration. Good luck!

Maybe just a little too high key. The water drops almost look like bumps on the petals. Love the composition and color. 8

Flowers are my favorite subjects to photograph. This is just so so beautiful. I love the colors and the little water drops. Good Luck

This image is compelling and beautiful. But I rated it a bit low because of the lack of detail. I suspect that was intended. But I keep wondering if I'd like this better with a litte more sharpness and/or contrast--or maybe a contrasting background.
