 There was a slight mist, so I am not entirely happy with the contrast. The smoke rising is of geothermal nature, as are the red and green colors (alterations). Edited in LR4 and Nik Software.

I like the postprocessing - ott but sensitively done to emphasize the contrast between the snowy and earthy areas. A visual treat. 8

Very beautiful image that winks back and forth from landscape to abstract. The distribution of colors and shapes integrate to form an exciting whole. My favorite in the challenge, and going into my favorites.

WOW! I love what you did with this. The color & curving lines & shapes are seductive. Interesting that the cloud shadows don't show up as much in fullsize as they do in thumbnail. The cloud shadows do a lot to make this interesting, but in a subtle way. I like it.

very good idea like it as an abstract,cutting the top half off makes another image maybe a bit stronger
