I wondered downtown one morning before work shooting some of Chicago's public clocks. This is the Father Time Clock on the Jeweler's Building. On top is a winged bearded guy with a scythe and an hourglass — which is supposed to represent time's constant one-way movement. Most of details of the clock are lost in my entry, but you can see some of them better here:

I got pretty lucky with the light. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than be good. ;)

Wonderful street scene. The light, especially the reflected light, is absolutely fabulous! I think that the perfect positioning of the clock has turned what would have been silhouette and blown light into this magical image.
My choice for the blue.
