I just don't find the subject interesting... |

Unfortunately, this shot is really out of focus, and the light in the ghost is really over-exposed. If using a non-assisted AF is your problem, then sometimes it can be helpful to carry a bright flashlight around with you to help with the auto-focusing, especially at night and with darker subjects. Also, I find that this photograph is pretty plain and simple (simplicity isn't always a bad thing though, it's just really hard to capture in a nice way), and lacking in any strong compositional area. |

a tripod would help to prevent the blur, color is right |

Way too OOF. Also placing the subject in the dead centerof the photo tends to give it a "postcard" feeling. Just my 2cents |

Lacking focus and it seems to me that there was very little though that went in to the composition, I would have preferred to see it positioned slightly off centre.

I'm voting this low because it really isn't in focus, it isn't very interesting, and it doesn't look like much effort was put into it. Sorry! |

This image is very blurry which is one reason i gave it a low mark. Perhaps you were wanting to use that as part of the effect, but i don't feel it helps it at all. The subject is also placed DIRECTLY in the center of the image which makes for an 'uninteresting' composition... perhaps if it was moved to the left side more, that would help. |

Blurry (looks like camera movement) and not the best angle. Use a tripod, if you have one. |

This shot looks really out of focus. Could be deliberate. But it distracts in my opinion

Not in focus, uninteresting shot, no composition (subject dead centered).
Sorry . I hope this comment helps. |
