This is an excellent photo. I really appreciate the subtlety of the colors and lighting.
I'm surprised to see it finish so low, but I can only assume people aren't enamored with birdy eyes like they are mammal eyes. It's also quite difficult to tell the age. These little guys look like they're about ready to leave the nest, and don't really have the characteristics one would expect from a "baby" bird. I trust ya though! |

This is so amazing! I love hummingbirds so much. What a treat to get to photograph them in the nest like this!
