Congrats Mark! Every time I drop in at DPC, I see your name on the front page, sometimes (like now) more than once! WTG! |

Every time I look at this shot, I'm impressed all over again.
It's a grand image, Mark, and terrific that you took a Blue with it. |

It's never been a problem at this spot since the ground is a mixture of rock and sand and is pretty solid. There isn't that much movement in the water which also helps. I have shot along shorelines that have some water movement that caused my tripod to sink though. |

Nah, the camera on the tripod was just set up for this shot. It was too windy that day so the water is too choppy. I'll for sure be back though. I noticed that my favorite boat is back, the one in the far background. It's been gone for about a year. |

Very cool selfie Mark, featuring The Place! Did you rearrange the boats again? :)
Not comfortable with the unattended salty tripod at 5 o'clock. |

Couldn't vote for this one, but I believe it's the best of the challenge. ...I may be a tad biased...but this image takes the idea of "selfie" to a new level. Well done. Here's hoping the rest of DPC agrees with me. |

This seems to be one of the more interesting in this challenge. I love the serious, professional look to it. And the sort of mystery of standing in the water. The colors are really appealing as well. 9 |
