 Thanks very much for votes and comments all greatly appreciated ! This was a last minute run out in the car after dinner before the sunset. I got bit to death by the local gnats in the process, but a red ribbon has made the itchiness well worth it !
Its a cemetery on the top of a hill in my home town known as fox covert, i've been there a few times as the views are quite nice and remembered seeing the shadows off the gravestones once before. The idea was to get all the shadows pointing to the setting sun in the background

I love the shadows, particularly in the sky. Just a tad over the top in the processing for me. I almost wish this was less HDR-ish and showed lass of the details on the stones. Really nice, but just a little heavy handed. 8 instead of a 10.

Coming back for another look....
I still like this one a lot! You seem to be shooting straight into the sun, yet you managed to keep details on the gravestones instead of pure silhouettes, and all that without an obvious HDR look. The shadows are a strong feature. Very interesting image.

Gorgeous cemetery. This is fp material. The tombstone shadows are eclipsed only by the shadow in the sky. Breathtaking.

I appreciate your restraint from pushing the contrast to much. This has a nice soft feel reminiscent of film.
