| Some nice detail in the feathers. The eye looks like a black hole without a catchlight in it. At the very least, I'd have selectively lightened the eye to see if I could get some more detail there. One of my personal bugaboos ;-) |

| Great detail on the bird, even the highlights have details still visible, but the background is too in-focus and too similar in tone and lightness to the bird, and the bird doesn't pop out as well as it could have. I don't know how much room you had to move around, but with a background to really make the subject pop this would have been much better. |
