 First entry with the 70D ! drove for 2hours and walked for 45 mins to get to this place, gorgeous location :-)

Wow thanks for your kind words :-) i think the main thing for me is regularly going out with the camera and taking photos whenever possible. I had a day where i just decided to take off in the car and lose myself for a few hours, if i'd stayed home i wouldnt of taken this ! I do a regular trip every week with hesitant after work and we compete with each other, its fun but pushes you to try that little bit harder to improve ! I normaly have toast and coffee for breakfast if it helps ;-)

Congratulations on the Blue Ribbon. It's well-deserved.

I just noticed your recent run of achievements: Six consecutive challenges with HM or better and 10 out of the last 13 challenges with HM or a ribbon. I'm not sure what you are eating for breakfast, but I need to eat some too. Seriously, though, that's an astounding achievement! Congratulations.

Would have preferred the exposure to be a bit longer and the processing a tiny bit less cooked, but otherwise very good image.

Wouldn't be surprised if you told me their was a burning Viking funeral pyre about to sail into view! Lovely atmospheric shot - the sea is on fire!
