Hello from the critique club...

1st I'll explain what I like: I love the framing. The trees frame the elk nicely. I also like the amount of detail in the trees and grass. Your focus is spot on....

OK there is only 1 thing that I really think hurts this pic. Lighting. The light in the background I find too harsh. (I am sure this was taken in mid day). I did not vote in this challenge but I would have given you a 5.

Good environment you've created with this one. I like the light, and where the lens focus is vs. where the visual focus is.
