*Hello from Sid and the Critique Club*

An appealing image that is assumed to meet the challenge.

I get the pleasure to once more comment upon your image. I like it first time round and I still do, this is a great composition with the bird off-centre looking into the rest of the gorgeous golden frame, and what a beautiful bird it is too. The lighting is perfect it has enabled you to give good definition and form to the bird whilst at the same time bringing out the textures of backdrop crop. Your commenters seem to be understandably very appreciative but I'm not sure what one of them means about any technical imperfections I'm not sure how this could be improved.

Thank you for giving us such a delectable treat, I scored it an 8 and would eagerly do so again, it is so good I'm going to have to fave it. It's a real shame you don't appear to be active I hope you return soon, Sid

This is the best picture of a drongo that I've ever seen. Mind you, I haven't seen as many as I have of elephants, but even if I had I'm still sure that this one would remain the most "Holy Mackerel!" bit of drongophraphy ever. I'm so jealous that you made this beautiful photograph of such a difficult-to-do-justice-to bird that has seen me fail 100% of the time ... though all my efforts were with the African cousin, the fork-tailed drongo, which is probably a much more difficult subject than this Asian variant. I'm lying; it's exactly the same. Still, I hate you a bit.. But thank you; it's quite brilliant. 9 (at least).

I like the composition, and the yellow and black works really well together. Just enough DOF to get the occasional green grain.

An interesting shot and the cane is nice.

Why can't all animal/nature shots be composed so imaginatively?

Unusually artistic, WD!

Dark bird on bright yellow highly textured field evokes some feelings generated by the Van Gough painting Wheatfield with Crows. Unfortunately, a photograph might have to wait a long time to reach similar pricing. Enjoyable image that should do well.

Great image with a suffocating feeling
Could be done better technically speaking but at this point I do not care
