Oh boy, I'm flattered... And surprised, since it was "just for fun" project, all photos captured and processed on iPhone.
As commenters noted, shadows are so different from their owners! Since the photos were captured "upside down" it was impossible to predict beforehand how they will look. So I was following people or paused in the middle of busy crossroad, which, I guess, implies some effort...Still fun! Hardest part was to select the finalists.
Thank you for encouraging comments, really appreciated!
Even poets liked my photos and some titles! Yay!
Titles...most of them are pretty straightforward and certainly reflect only my perception at that moment. Pretty sure all of you could find different (and better)ones!
Thank you again!

Wonderful essay. I love shadows and these seem exceptional. The titles really add to the whole experience.

We're all minions. aren't we?

Also, so similar but different.

A very entertaining dance.

I thoroughly enjoyed this essay! The shadow population is made up of such special characters, from dwarfs to giants, sometimes standing next to one another, merging, morphing. Wonderful!. I love your titles. Will he survive? Shadows are so fragile, yet so totally resilient. Kill them in the dark and they will be resurrected with the next burst of light, yet there is no telling in what manner they may change.

I found it quite humorous to look at all your titles to match your photo's, a very well thought out and put together essay of shadows.

A great series, show the alter ego states of the people brilliantly.Reminds me of the Dr Who Flatline episode in a particular way. A gallant effort accumulating this essay. I would love to follow your example and collect a similar essay, but I don't think I could match yours and those great titles. Well done.

You distort and hide the shadow figures in different ways, very engaging variations on a theme. I even like your titles, most of them.

I'm getting around to commenting on your series a little late and many have already stated my impressions. This is a terrific series and your titles add some personality and guidance. I'm a sucker for shadows, especially when done well! Thanks

What a fabulous collection of images - I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this essay, especially the titles. I am useless at title (no imagination).

Oh boy, what a marvelous little book! These are not shadows; they tell the naked truth, they go beyond appearances, they are the substance of things.
It's clearly all in our brain this life of ours. The little feet take us far and sometimes dangerously, anxiously or amusingly
but we are all in a frenzy of thoughts. There is also a lightness of being that is so very charming and reassuring.

(These are so very far from my photo shadows that I am really exuberant)

Really looking forward for your other photos/essay/etc

I've had a quick look and I like it. I share your love of shadow magic. But I'm very busy just now ... I'll be back in a day or 2 to leave you a proper comment. Thanks for submitting interesting stuff!

OK back now for a longer look. Great titles! You funny. The shadows transform the original person into someone else. Jekyll & Hyde. It's a very clever and interesting theme for an essay ... I've done one that was similar in the past, but yours is more fun. But beyond the fun there's another level, which is the way that a photograph can reveal things not visible to the naked eye. This shadow theme is just one example of that extrasensory vision you get ΓΆ€“ and we get ΓΆ€“ by looking through your camera, but it's a very good one. Thank you.
