| My critique capabilities fall short, so I can just give my compliments. I certainly love the composition, and the choice to take the color out. It makes the shot much more demanding to look at, and greater historic relevence to ponder. If there is one thing I can say about it in critique, which by the way is desperate in grasping at something, it would be that it isn't as engaging as perhaps it could be. Not a story that I can ponder in its wake. If there was a farm truck, or wedding, or somebody just simply on the stairs I could build a story that fits into my psyche. But like I said I'm not sure that would make the shot better or worse, beings I'm amateur, and looking at this shot it is way above my pay grade so to say. LOL, great shot, one of my top choices. |
