Great composition and detail in this pattern architecture shot of the stairwell. I like what the fisheye lens does for the composition because it curves the normally straight edge objects it makes the imagery flow smoother in a swirl/whirlpool direction down towards the bottom floor.
Just read your description on how you achieved the shot - running to activate the lights on the floors, now that is photographic lighting that provides not just light but a full workout:-)! Congrats on the Blue! |

Hehe. There were quite a few people that saw me running the stairs. I took the shot before I started work and only had about 10 minutes to do it. A lot of the evening shift (I work in a big hospital) was arriving and walking through the stairwell. I got to my office drenched in sweat. :) |

You need to hire stair runners. :-) Like the Escher-esqueness of this; fisheye is perfect! |

Love the perspective!
Wish I could have seen the run down the stairs, if you were seen I am betting people were wondering what the heck you were doing, anyway it made me chuckle just thinking about it. |
